RecoveryDesk for Windows

The application you bought, for the computer your team works on. It installs for your Windows account only and does not need an administrator.

Not yet released

There is no installer to download yet. When there is, this page will carry the version number, the file size and the SHA-256 checksum of the exact file, so your IT person can check that what they downloaded is what we published.

Which computers

RecoveryDesk runs on Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit. A macOS version is being prepared. It is covered by the same licence, and we will email you when it is ready — we will not say it is available before it has been built and notarised on a Mac.

How you get the file

The download link is in your purchase email, and it is also on your order page. It is signed for a few minutes at a time rather than permanent — so a link forwarded to somebody outside your practice stops working — and you can ask for a fresh one any time with your order reference. There is no public download, because there is no public licence.

What you will need

  • Windows 10 or Windows 11, 64-bit.
  • Your activation code, from your purchase email.
  • The unscheduled treatment report from your practice management system, as a CSV or Excel export.

Full details are on the system requirements page, including what the application does on your network — the answer is almost nothing, and your IT vendor will want to read it.

Installing it

  1. Run the installer. It installs for your Windows account and asks for no password.
  2. Open RecoveryDesk and paste in your activation code.
  3. Import your report and start working the list.

Your practice data stays on that computer, in an encrypted file. Installing, updating and uninstalling never touch it.
