Terms of sale and use

These terms cover buying and using anything sold on this site by Techtician AI LLC. Buying something means you accept them.

What you are buying

Two things, priced separately. A perpetual licence for RecoveryDesk, an application you install on a Windows computer you control, together with the version current at purchase; and Recovery Care, a monthly subscription covering updates and support. The licence does not expire. Recovery Care does, if you stop it.

Recovery Care

• The initial term is 12 months from purchase. After that it continues month to month until you cancel.
• Recovery Care covers new versions, security updates and support. It does not cover anything about the licence itself, which is perpetual.
• Cancelling ends updates and support at the end of the period you have paid for. The version installed at that point keeps working, with every feature it has, on your data, for as long as you keep it — including on a computer that never connects to the internet again. Nothing is deleted, disabled or held back, and export and backup keep working.
• The multi-location tier includes three locations. Additional locations are charged monthly per location.
• Moving up a tier charges the difference between what you have already paid and the new tier’s one-time price, and your monthly rate changes from that point. It does not restart your initial term and does not move your billing anniversary: if you upgrade in month seven, you are seven months into the same term, not starting a new one.
• One licence activates on up to three computers at a time. You can release a computer and activate another from inside the application, without contacting us.

Licence

You may:

• Use the files to run the process inside your own organisation.
• Modify, rename and adapt them however you like.
• Give copies to your own employees and contractors while they work for you.
• Keep using the version you have indefinitely. The licence does not expire.
• Export your own data at any time, in any licence state, including after cancelling.

You may not:

• Resell, sublicense or redistribute the files outside your organisation.
• Publish them anywhere publicly accessible, including template marketplaces and shared drives open to people outside your organisation.
• Use them to deliver consulting services to third parties without a consultant licence. Ask us for one — we would rather sell you one than find out afterwards.

The multi-location tier extends the licence to the locations operated by the purchasing organisation that are covered by your Recovery Care subscription.

What we are not promising

No financial outcome is guaranteed. These files describe a process and provide tools to run it. Results depend on your list, your team, the time you protect for it, and factors none of us control.

Any figure produced by a calculator in the workbook is arithmetic performed on numbers you entered yourself. It is a projection of your own assumptions, not a forecast of your results, and it is not a representation by us.

We are not your dentist, contractor, lawyer, accountant or compliance officer. Nothing here is professional advice for your specific situation. Where the material touches regulated areas — patient data handling, contract terms, consumer contact rules — treat it as a starting point to review with someone qualified in your jurisdiction, not as a legal opinion.

Your obligations

• Contact rules are yours to follow. Calling, texting and emailing customers is regulated in most places. Get consent where required, honour opt-outs, and respect do-not-call registers. The scripts include opt-out language; using them correctly is on you.
• Data protection is yours to manage. Once you put patient or customer information into the workbook, you are the controller of it and the applicable rules are yours to meet.

Refunds

14 days, described in full on the refund policy page, which forms part of these terms.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Availability

We aim to keep download links working indefinitely and we will make reasonable efforts to do so, but we do not guarantee permanent availability of this website. Keep your own copy of the files after you download them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you bought.
